I have one, I won’t lie. I bought some Google service from an email address I made specifically to sign up for whatever it is. I honestly don’t even remember what I “bought” (never a good sign), but I know for sure I have been unable to cancel, which frankly makes it seem more like a scam than a legitimate business transaction.
In any case, an essential part of reducing expenses is auditing your bank / credit card accounts and eliminating any expenses that seem to occur and recur absent legitimate reasons. I have seen news stories about like a majority of American adults having charges they can’t explain on their credit card statements — to which, I ask, why? I guaran-damn-tee that if I see unknown charges on my credit card statement, I will address it expediently. I honestly don’t know why this even needs saying, but we are not in heaven. Moreover, businesses — especially those with shareholders — are not your friends. In this case, that means both the bank and the company charging you. The only thing you have going for you here is that the bank isn’t friends with the company charging you either.
